Accepted!

So it’s now official, I’ve been accepted by the NGO in Barmer, Rajasthan to work with them.

I’m going to India!

My departure date from North America will be sometime in March, but due to various logistics that have to occur first, I won’t know when until closer to the date.

The 5 day SKWID (Skills for Working In Development) training finished today and so I am done with all CUSO-VSO courses over here. The next training will be in country for about one to three months. A lot of that training is for language.

Today I’m in Ottawa and will take off to Cooperstown to pick up my Y-flyer tomorrow, to be delivered to “behind a barn” at my friends Dean and Annalore’s in Campbellville, Ontario.
